Jacqui is a compassionate and dedicated psychologist, who supports adolescents and adults to explore and develop strategies to improve mental health conditions and to change unhelpful thoughts or behaviours. Clients are encouraged to tap into their strengths, personal values and self-compassion to better understand why they feel, think and act in ways that are distressing or negatively affecting their life or relationships.
Jacqui uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema focussed CBT, EMDR, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Positive Psychology to assist clients with Anxiety Disorders, Stress, Depression, Trauma & PTSD, Chronic Medical and Health Issues, Relationship difficulties, and Grief and Loss, and challenges related to Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD.
Jacqui’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science (UTS), Bachelor of Social Science with Honours in Psychology (CSU), Masters in Clinical Psychology (Cairnmillar Institute) and is currently completing her Clinical Psychology Registrar program. She is registered with AHPRA, registered with SIRA to provide psychological services for Workers Compensation, and provides services through Medicare. She belongs to the Australian Psychology Association and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
Appointments can be made with Jacqui on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
