Melissa is a Registered Psychologist with over 16 years’ experience working in Community Mental Health, NGO and private practice. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a provider of psychological services through Medicare. Melissa has particular interest and experience in working with adults who present with depression (in particular post natal depression), anxiety , major life transitions, stress management, grief and trauma.

Melissa provides evidence based treatments that are tailored to the needs and goals of each client. She has experience in a range of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma focused therapies.

This is so true ! Our “stressors” are actually often our greatest blessings!The Power of our thinking is so very important. If we are consistently thinking we HAVE TO and SHOULD, we put so much pressure on ourselves and something that could be positive will ultimately become negative.
