Melissa is a Registered Psychologist with over 16 years’ experience working in Community Mental Health, NGO and private practice. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a provider of psychological services through Medicare. Melissa has particular interest and experience in working with adults who present with depression (in particular post natal depression), anxiety , major life transitions, stress management, grief and trauma.

Melissa provides evidence based treatments that are tailored to the needs and goals of each client. She has experience in a range of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma focused therapies.

Just a little check in on how you are managing your perspective. We “thrive or dive” depending on how we interpret the things around us, so it’s really clever to develop the skill of processing things well. There is pain left and right of all of us and yes if the pain is in us we should stop and care for it, but there is also joy and beauty left and right of us waiting to be noticed, waiting to heal us.
